Hello! It has been so tough to keep this a secret for so long, but for the past year, we have been creating a Japanese cooking book! This is such huge and happy news for me to share with you. I’m so excited. Hooray!
What is the book title?
We are so excited to let Chopstick Chronicles readers know that We have been busy developing recipes for The Chopstick Chronicles’ first book. It is called “The secrets to Japanese cooking” – Use the Power of Fermented Ingredients to Create Authentic Flavors at Home.
How publishing our book became a reality?
First of all, I would like to thank you, our readers, for your readership and support for making this book possible. Because of you, my blog was noticed by Page Street publishing company who gave us the opportunity to fulfil my dream of publishing a cookbook.
Sneak peek to Japanese cooking
Here’s a little bit about the book. Firstly, it’s a Japanese cuisine cookbook based around fermented Japanese home cooking. This is something I’m very passionate about. It is filled with 75 delicious Japanese recipes (with a photo for each one to get your mouthwatering). Most importantly, you can easily incorporate these into your everyday cooking. It includes a variety of Japanese dishes such as miso soup, sushi, hot pot (sukiyaki), and some tasty little side dishes. In addition, they all use the power of Japanese fermented ingredients to create simple yet delicious meals.
When is it available?
It will be hitting the bookstore shelves on the 21st of May! But if you want to secure your copy, it is available for pre-order right now. Why pre-order you ask? Because most importantly, you will get the book at a discounted price! And as a result of pre-ordering the book through Amazon, there is a chance I will be advertised as the Editor’s Choice. I would be jumping for joy if that happened. In fact, if you pre-order through Amazon, I will come to your home and cook a meal for each and every one of you! Ok, that part isn’t true. Sorry. I am a little too excited at the moment 🙂
Where can we buy or pre-order?
The book will be available to purchase at many bookstores and online. Here is where you’ll be able to buy the book from the 21st of May and where you can pre-order your copy now:

I am Carol Sng from Singapore.

May I know if this book is available in Singapore and at what price are you launching it.

If there is Amazon, I think you may be able to get it, but I am not sure sorry. Price will be the same I think.

Ok I am so going to buy this book. I’m into fermented foods and LOVE Japanese food.. well any Asian food really. You’re in Brisbane? You can come cook in my brand new kitchen when it’s done. We lost almost everything in the floods here in Townsville in February and it’s almost about to be rebuilt we think. I lost some of my cookbooks but it’s ok, I had most of the best ones up higher.
