Cut the chicken meat into bite size pieces and set aside.
Dice the onion and carrots and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and cook the chicken meat.
When the chicken meat changes colour and has cooked, add the onion and carrot to the frying pan and cook.
Add the cooked rice and ketchup to the frying pan. Stir and turn the rice over constantly with a wooden spatula until the rice is evenly coated with ketchup and is well separated.
Add the green peas to the frying pan and stir.
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve in a bowl or a plate.

This ketchup rice can be wrapped up with fried egg to make Omurice.
