Notes
*1 Two individually packed commercially made mochi. If you are going to make your own mochi from sweet mochi rice, see my How to make mochi recipe. *2 I used "Shiratamako" I bought from a local Japanese grocery store. It had an after taste even though it listed only sweet rice as ingredient. So I added sugar to disguise the taste. *3 See my Daikon post for suitable part of daikon to be grated. *4 See Soy sauce post for which soy sauce and substitution. *5 Read more information about Shiso in my Shiso post. *6 See the post for Matcha, and Black sesame flavoured ice cream recipes. *7 Sweet azuki bean paste recipe. *8 Brown sugar syrup can be substituted with honey or maple syrup. *9 The nutritional facts is only for mochi waffle. Toppings are not included.
