This is one of the easiest drinks you will ever make! First, follow these instructions to make a simple amazake drink.

Then, pour it into your favorite glass. Add just a little bit of lemon juice and just enough honey to sweeten it. That’s all – you are ready to enjoy this refreshing drink.

What To Serve With Amazake

Since this is a very sweet drink with a slightly tart flavour, I like to enjoy it with something salty or savoury.

You can never go wrong with Japanese teriyaki chicken. It’s a no-fail recipe that goes with anything.

Of course, yakisoba (Japanese stir-fried noodles) also tastes perfect with the sweet drink. In fact, the honey and lemon enhance the umami flavours in the noodles.
