Thankful for the good health of all my family
I am thankful for the change in seasons.
I am thankful for all the children in my life who like to help me in the kitchen, cook, learn, and experiment. We have a lot of fun!
I’m thankful this year for the very thought of friends and family no matter where they may be. Growing up in LA where Japanese food and family are abundant , I’ve always longed for the food and traditions I grew up with. Having lost my mom last year, I no longer have her to call and talk about how we used to do things the “japanese way”.
I thank you for your website that will allow me to find some comfort in the old ways 🙂
I am mostly thankful for God who has blessed me with a wonderful husband and children. I am also thankful that although I have major health issues, they are quality of life issues not terminal. Have a blessed life everyone!
Every year I bake a cheesecake, usually I see my mother’s recipe but this year I’m going to use your recipe (or maybe make both!)
I’m thankful for the abundance we have and that my family is able be together this year.
Thank you for the great recipes! I’m most thankful for family this year. We just had our 3rd child last week, which we are thankful for, but also for all of our family helping us through the first few weeks so we can get some sleep and get fed!
Conglaturations 😀
Since I’m Australian we don’t have Thanksgiving but I’m happy I have American friends that can tell me all about their Thanksgiving dinner and teach me how to cook pumpkin pie!
One of my favorite memories was when I was in High School and I did a student exchange to Japan, for Christmas my exchange family purchased a Christmas cake from KFC, I was in utter shock because I never knew you could buy cakes from there. We had a huge family get together and took photos for their postcards they give out at New Years.
That sounds like typical Japanese Christmas and get chicken from KFC also 🤣?
can’t wait to try the Matcha ice cream recipe.
I’m thankful for the good health of my family.
my favorite holiday recipe is pandoro
my son´s health 🙂
For a lovely big family around
So thankful for family, which sounds kind of cheesy and typical right? My sister’s twins will turn one and my nephew turned 8. She struggled to have the twins and was hospitalized a few times, which was really scary. I do not have children and am not even dating so I visit several times a year to hang out. They are so much fun to be around and just adorable. Just glad I get to be an aunt and watch them grow up. I live a few states away and have no family or many friends even though I have lived in this area for 5 years. My house doesn’t feel like a home. It is just nice to visit a home full of love.
I’m thankful for my family, especially the sunshine my daughter brings and the support of my husband.
I am grateful for my family and friends and for continued good health
Thankful to be able to gather around a table with friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal!
I am thankful for the 5 senses. See, hear, taste, touch, smell. And emotions.
Great roundup, Shiho! I’m in love with your Japanese birthday cake. I’m going to try to make that for the holidays.
Thank you Lily 😀 I am updating the cake and improved post should be up this weekend.
